Lately I’ve noticed myself drifting toward free‑verse poems that borrow the logic of fables — small creatures, sharp turns, a hint of darkness. The tone grew out of things I’ve been navigating in my own life, and instead of resisting it, I’ve started treating it as a new path worth following.
