THE RAW TRUTH OF MY POETRY

Most creatives say that self-expression should be raw, and yet so many of us are still afraid to go all in or mock other writers, artists, and creators when the work is not what they think it should be. This is especially true when we share with a large audience. Art isn’t meant to be polished; for me, that defeats its purpose. Art is subjective and should be felt, not judged. If you didn’t feel it, clearly it is not for you.
